About DogDrops

DogDrops is a community gallery for dogs with terrible timing.

Some Drops are scenic. Some are awkward. Some are embarrassing. Some are tiny public disasters that only another dog owner could understand.

What is a Drop?

A Drop is a photo submitted by a dog owner, or by someone who has the owner’s permission to share it. Every Drop is reviewed before it appears publicly. If it is approved and display permission is granted, it joins the gallery.

Categories

Drops fall into four categories. Choose the one that fits when you submit:

  • Poop Postcards — beautiful views, terrible timing. The original.
  • Guilty Faces — the look that says everything.
  • Walkies Gone Wrong — footpaths, parks, and public spaces where things went sideways.
  • Backyard Business — close-to-home incidents you cannot explain.

How submissions work

Fill in the submit form with a photo, your dog’s name, a display name, and a caption. A few rules apply: only your own dog (or one you have the owner’s permission to share), no clear human faces visible, no exact private addresses, and no animal harm or distress.

Your email address is never shown publicly. Full details are on the Submission Rules page.

Voting

Sign in with your email to vote for your favourite Drop — one vote per day. Votes count toward Monthly Champions. Cast wisely.

Daily Drop

Each day, one Drop is hand-picked by the DogDrops team and featured on the Daily Drop page. The selection criteria are entirely subjective.

Monthly Champions

Each month, the most community-loved Drops are recognised as Monthly Champions. Winners are drawn from community voting and the DogDrops team.

Trust, safety, and removal

DogDrops is meant to feel fun and community-first — not mean, not like public shaming. We review every submission before it goes live.

If you want a photo removed for any reason, email remove@dogdrops.fun. We will action it without requiring an explanation. Full details are on the Remove a Drop page.
